Chocolate chips sandy cookies

Do you often have sweet cravings? You can take these tasty cookies with you and eat some when cravings attack.



  • 36 g room temperature butter
  • 36 g coconut oil
  • 2 Tsp stevia
  • 30 g honey
  • 1 tsb vanilla extract
  • 30 g almond meal
  • 70 g wholemeal SR flour
  • 1 tsb baking soda
  • 15 g plain flour
  • Chocolate chips



  1. In a bowl, add butter, coconut oil, stevia, honey and vanilla extract. Mix everything together
  2. Now add the rest of dry ingredients and combine them well with a spatula or clean hands
  3. Add chocolate chips to the dough and mix
  4. Prepare a flat square of baking paper
  5. Make a tube or roll form of 3cm wide with the dough (use your hands), then put the roll on one of the edges of the baking paper square
  6. Roll it in with the baking paper until you close the tube
  7. Then wrap it up with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours
  8. Once passed the 2 hours, cut even slices of the dough of about 1cm, put the cookies on a tray with baking paper and get ready to bake
  9. Bake for about 12-15min at 180 C
  10. Leave the cookies cool down and enjoy!
